The restaurant serves delicious local produce, the rustic decor makes me feel like I'm in the countryside, and the hotel offers great amenities like a terrace and complimentary Wi-Fi. A perfect escape!
The only downside was the fact that the elevator wasn't made of gold. How disappointing!

Good reception and super restaurant. No parking problem but steps down to reach entrance. Weather not suitable for swimming pool but it looked good.
Very difficult to find. Breakfast was not up to the standards of the restaurant. But we liked the ambience and enjoyed our stay.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional, with affordable prices that didn't compromise on quality. Secondly, the staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We were particularly impressed by their attention to detail, ensuring that all our needs were met. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the charming historical sites of the area, including the nearby Santillana del Mar. Lastly, we were thrilled with the rooms with balconies, offering a great view of the surroundings - it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful scenery.

Swimming pool, location away from the busy center of town, nice breakfast, pretty setting; good for kids- pool, free bike loans, croquet, bocce ball.
The room was musty-smelling due to lack of ventilation; It feels like this place wants to be very special and a wonderful little get-away, and it succeeds in some areas but the overall feel is that it is trying to be that way, not that it is that way.

We loved the convenient location, just a short walk away from the village and coast. The hotel facilities included plenty of on-site parking and a terrace with stunning views of the mountains and the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast with its variety of options.
Don't have any issues at all.

Location was beautiful and close to Santander.
Staff were a bit dour and reception seemed surprised that we had arrived by motorcycle, even though I had made a request for parking of the bike to be reserved.

Close to the town, but enough far away to be quiet.
Some more lights could be useful.

I recently stayed at this fabulous hotel with an unbeatable location. The staff were friendly and the views of the Picos mountains and the nearby town were absolutely breathtaking. I especially enjoyed sipping on their delicious strawberry gin on the terrace while taking in the spectacular scenery. The easy and free parking was also a great convenience during my stay.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊
